Abington's
John Cutler Masonic Lodge was recently recognized by the Grand Lodge of
Masons in Massachusetts' Masonic Angel Foundation in honor of the lodge's
successful first year in running a local Masonic Angel Fund. The Masonic
Angel Fund provides funding through local schools for children's basic
necessities such as clothing, educational and extracurricular experiences,
medical needs and more.
"I am honored to congratulate John Cutler
Masonic Lodge on the first anniversary of their Masonic Angel Fund. John
Cutler's fund has been an ideal example of how a Masonic Angel Fund should
operate and contribute to the community," said Bob Fellows, Masonic Angel
Fund co-founder. "They have gone above and beyond the call of duty in
providing a wide range of assistance for local children in the
Abington-Rockland area."
During its inaugural year, John Cutler's
Masonic Angel Fund provided a number of benevolences to students of
Abington's Center and Woodsdale Schools and the Esten and Jefferson Schools
in Rockland. Following are just a few of the highlights of contributions
made by the Fund to local children in need.
